I guess I want to blog. The title kind of says what some people might think. I am not an open book. I like to keep to myself. Some will say I am an introvert so what could I possibly want to blog about. I love football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. I enjoy watching basketball especially when it comes to the San Antonio Spurs. I love watching movies especially superhero movies, Batman is GOAT in my eyes. I think Prison Break is the best written show ever and the main character Michael Scofield is the best character ever created. I enjoy watching crime documentaries and horror films are very intriguing and the creepy stuff does give me goosebumps. This blog is giving me a way to express my thoughts on “paper”. I have so many things that run through my mind that I just want to write out.
For example, sometimes I think what I would do if I were the general manager/owner of the Steelers. I will ride with Big Ben Roethlisberger this year, but I am eyeing a new quarterback whether it be free agency or through the draft.
From there my mind thinks about the state of the Spurs and should we go in full on rebuild mode. Quick answer we should, because no one wants to come to San Antonio and being stuck in that not good enough to make the playoffs and not getting a high enough draft pick purgatory will drive me insane.
Then my mind wanders onto thoughts like what would Batman be like if he were a person of color? Idris Elba would be in my mind an incredible Bruce Wayne.
Or could you imagine a king and queen Black Panther power couple where both rule over Wakanda but also fight along side each other. Talk about a real royal family.
I also want to change careers and want to express my mind about that. I have been in the financial industry for the last 12 years not out of love but out of necessity. I want to get into tech and this blog is part of that transition.
I am a married father of 2 and my wife is the bread winner and I know for some men that is not cool. But you know what I do not care. I never was in the job field to be the richest man. My wife, she is beautiful and extremely intelligent makes a lot of money doing what she loves. And I want to follow her in those footsteps, do something I love. That is the main reason why I wanted to start blogging. Talk about things that I love and feel extremely passionate about. As you can see, I am all over the place in this first post, but it gives you a snippet of what goes on in my mind. The great Stephen Hawking, physicist, author, has a great quote that resonates with me. “Quiet people have the loudest minds.” I may be quiet to most, but my mind is loud, and this blog is a way to let whoever is reading this that I have millions of thoughts and insights on so many things.
